TAURANGA & ORCHARD - TOUR OVERVIEW

Adventure and Cultural Tours Bay of Plenty specialize in smaller tour groups with a maximum of 19 passengers in our custom built luxury coach.

Meeting you at the Port of Tauranga Cruise Ship departure gate; our friendly guide will be waiting for you with your name on our display board . Your journey will begin with a drive along Pilot Bay and proceed along the wonderful Mount Maunganui beach.  With an exceptional view of Mauao ‘The Mountain’ you will be provided with some local facts as you embark on your local journey with us.

Our top attraction is our visit to Organic Kiwifruit Orchard in the Lower Kaimai.  Operated by a seasoned grower, Leighton has been growing Kiwifruit for 25 years, and oversighted the management of one of the largest grower organizations here in NZ.  Now Leighton is at the forefront of the Organic Industry here in NZ.

 

Visiting McLaren Falls Park you will see native New Zealand fauna, a lovely waterfall and a variety of wildlife including some native birds.  With lake setting this 190 hectare park truly is a magical place to visit and appreciate the New Zealand landscape.

​Our journey shall also take us via Tauranga's Historical Village and Historical war site 'Gate Pa'.
