HOBBITON & ROTORUA - PRIVATE TOUR
Adventure and Cultural Tours Bay of Plenty specialize in smaller tour groups with a maximum of 19 passengers in our custom built luxury coach.
Collecting you personally from the Port of Tauranga Cruise Ship departure gate or your accommodation. Your journey will traditionally begin with a drive along Pilot Bay and proceed along the wonderful Mount Maunganui beach. With an exceptional view of Mauao ‘The Mountain’ you will be given the opportunity to take some photo’s and hear some local facts along the way.
Visiting McLaren Falls Park you will see native New Zealand fauna, a lovely waterfall and a variety of wildlife including some native birds. With lake setting this 190 hectare park truly is a magical place to visit and appreciate the New Zealand landscape.
Continuing your journey to Hobbiton 'The Shire'
you shall be treated to a guided tour of the movie set with lots of fun facts, insider stories and of course many great photo opportunities. Once your tour of the Shire is complete you will be able to sit back and enjoy a drink at the Green Dragon Inn prior to be returned to the gift shop.
Our journey has only just begun as we head to Rotorua for your preference of activities. Rotorua is the home of Zorb which is tumbling it's way around the globe. Ziplining in Native Forest, soaking in Geo-thermal pools or visiting a Kiwi and the largest Geyser in the Southern Hemisphere. Your options are only restricted by your imagination.
