GLOW WORM & EBT OVERVIEW
With your personal guide collecting you from your accommodation in Tauranga; your journey will begin with introductions on our way to McLaren Falls Park just outside of Tauranga.
Visiting McLaren Falls Park you will see native New Zealand fauna, a lovely waterfall and a variety of wildlife including some native birds. With lake setting this 190 hectare park truly is a magical place to visit and appreciate the New Zealand landscape.
Continuing your journey to Waitomo, there you will have guided tours of both the Glow Worm Caves and the Ruakuri Caves. There is the option to upgrade to the Black Water Experience 'Black Labyrinth' at Waitomo. We will allocate up to 3.5 hours at the Waitomo Caves area prior to heading to the esteemed Hobbiton Movie Set.
'The Shire' you shall be treated to a guided tour of the movie set with lots of fun facts, insider stories and of course many great photo opportunities. This tour does of course include the Evening Banquet Tour so you will be treated to some of the finest food around while immersing yourself into the world of a Hobbit. Once your banquet meal is complete you shall return through The Shire with lanterns in hand for more wonderful tales before your journey must come to an end.
Your guide shall meet you on your return to provide you with your luxury transport back to where your journey began.
